Nesting Season Over Thumb Butte Reopens to Climbers

Prescott National Forest to Burn Wood Piles

Prescott AZ (January 9, 2013) – Prescott National Forest Fire managers are planning to burn wood and debris piles January 10-11, 2013, pending favorable weather conditions. Burning piles of debris left over from thinning projects require an adequate amount of moisture in the surrounding vegetation to help keep fire from creeping.
