Clean Water Ambassadors Patrol Oak Creek

Red Rock Sites Temporarily Closed

Sedona AZ – Two popular recreation sites on the Red Rock Ranger District will be temporarily closed during reconstruction activity over the next several weeks. The Soldiers Pass Trailhead will be closed Monday and Tuesday, February 27 – 28, 2012 for reconstruction of the parking area. In addition, the V-V Cultural Site located near Beaver Creek will be closed for the weekend of March 2 – March... 

Forest Service and the 1.5 mil gallon Water Tank

Sedona AZ (October 19, 2010) – The U. S. Forest Service has sent out a letter to some residents in the Chapel and Broken Arrow area to announce a public meeting October 21, 2010, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Red Rock Ranger Station to present its decision to install a 1.5 million gallon water tank in the Little Horse area of the Coconino National Forest. There has been no local news media...
