Driver lost control and crashed on SR 89A near Oak Creek Valley road in Verde Valley

Sedona AZ (May 30, 2013) – This afternoon, a driver experiencing a diabetic reaction lost control of his car on State Highway 89A near Oak Creek Valley Road, between Milepost 360 and 361.
The Verde Valley Fire District and Arizona Department of Public Safety responded.
A DPS responder on the scene said a gentleman in his sixties had a diabetic reaction and lost control of his vehicle. The driver was transported to the local medical center with no life threatening injuries. An investigation is on-going.
