Timothy Mcshane arrested on domestic violence and felony charges after shooting at three people in Ash Fork AZ

Sedona AZ (May 30, 2013) – Coconino County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 51-year-old Timothy Sean Mcshane of Kaibab Estates West, located north of Ash Fork, Arizona, on Monday, May 28, 2013, for attempted homicide and numerous felony charges in connection with a shooting involving three adults.

On Monday, May 26, 2013, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Deputies were sent to the intersection of Grand Avenue and Double A Ranch Road to meet with victims of a recent domestic violence assault. The first deputy to arrive spoke with three adults, two of whom, a man and a woman, indicated they were related to suspect Mcshane.

According to the female relative, Mcshane resides in a shed on a Kaibab Estates West lot. His shed, on Cedar Street, is located next to a second shed used by the relative to store personal property. During the attempt to remove property from her shed on the lot while accompanied by two adults, one also a relative of Mcshane, the suspect began threatening and firing a gun at them.

After interviewing the three victims and the suspect, and locating and collecting physical evidence, investigators believe that Mcshane fired a total of eight rounds from a shotgun, either into the air or at the victims. McShane had been walking along the road when the three passed him in a car traveling toward the shed lot. He allegedly fired two rounds in the air in an attempt to get the victim’s attention. Mcshane then walked to a neighbor’s residence and was driven back to his lot by that neighbor.

On several occasions during the incident, Mcshane allegedly pointed the weapon directly at or within close range to one of the women while shouting that he intended to kill her. It is believed he fired six more rounds, two in the air, two at the vehicle’s tires, and two at the vehicle as the victims fled the suspect.

Mcshane is being held at the Coconino County Detention Facility pending further investigation and charges.
