City of Sedona Arizona tells APS no smart meters in their city

Sedona AZ (October 3, 2013) – Sedona Smart Meter Awareness (SSMA) members Warren Woodward, Monnie Ramsell and Nancy Baer recently gave a smart meter presentation to the Arizona Hospital and Health Care Association (AHHA).

Greg Vigdor, President and Chief Executive Officer of AHHA, introduced the audience comprised of administrators from the Association and facility managers from hospitals throughout Arizona, including Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood.

AHHA is dedicated to providing leadership and advocacy on issues affecting the delivery, quality, accessibility and cost effectiveness of healthcare. The Association accepts and shares in the responsibility for improving the health status of the people of Arizona.

Following SSMA’s presentation concerning the health and safety dangers of Smart Meters, an interactive and productive question and answer session ensued. Since facility managers share the responsibility for the health and safety of patients and employees at their hospitals, there was significant interest in the effects of microwave radiation emitted by the Smart Meters currently being deployed throughout Arizona.

Each audience member received a complimentary copy of the DVD, Take Back Your Power and a folder containing key scientific “peer-reviewed” papers and articles documenting the health dangers of the microwave radiation emitted by “Smart” Meters.

  1. The truth is getting out there. Get informed. Be involved.

  2. We're Stuck says:

We installed solar panels and were required to install a smart meter. Of course, APS took forever to come out and flip the switch, because they still wanted the money for the electricity, but now we are stuck with the smart meter, and any associated issues. I don’t understand why we were “forced” to change. Solar has been around longer than the meters. I questioned it, but was told the system wouldn’t work with the older meters. All part of the game.

  3. Warren says:

@ We’re Stuck – APS is lying again. Solar works fine w/out a “smart” meter. As you point out, “Solar has been around longer than the meters.”

There are 2 ways to measure solar w/out “smart” meters: 1) a bi-directional analog meter that spins either way depending on energy going out or coming in, or 2) two analog meters hooked up so that one measures energy coming in and the other measures energy going out.

Something to ponder: APS are liars. APS runs a nuke plant.

  4. Cottonwood Smart Meter Awareness is pleased to announce a free screening of “Take Back Your Power” in the Verde Village 3 Clubhouse, 4855 Broken Saddle Dr. (off Hwy 260 on Del Rio, follow the signs) on October 17th from 6:00-8:00 pm. The screening will be followed with Q&A’s.

“Take Back Your Power” is an eye opening documentary feature film that investigates the “smart” meter program currently being implemented worldwide by most of the major utility companies and scheduled to be installed in the Verde Valley in November. It uncovers alarming issues about health, privacy, property rights, corporate fraud and the unprecedented vulnerability of the “smart” grid.

Our intention is to inform the public so they can make an educated decision whether to accept or refuse these devices.

DVD’s will be available at the event or can be purchased at sedonasmartmeterawareness.com where more information can be obtained.

We look forward to seeing you there.

How does one decline? Is it possible to decline before the Solar Installation?
