Sedona AZ (August 17, 2010) – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present two free “Cinema Under the Stars” events to celebrate the SR 179 road construction completion on Friday and Saturday, August  20 and 21, 2010. The free outdoor film screenings are presented as part of the citywide Red Rock Road celebration weekend (also known as “T.G.I.F.” – Thank Goodness It’s Finished).

The screenings will take place along SR 179 at Tequa Festival Marketplace in the Village of Oak Creek and Hillside Courtyard within the city limits.

On Friday at Tequa, the Sedona International Film festival presents A Single Man, starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore. On Saturday at Hillside, the four-time Oscar nominated spectacular Nine will premiere. Both films will begin at 8:00 p.m. with a free pre-film concert each night by members of the Sedona Performers Guild.
