Samuel Lee Williams arrested
Sedona AZ (April 6, 2015) – On March 30, 2015, security personnel for the Enchantment Resort on Boynton Canyon Road, Sedona, reported to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office a case of employee theft and fraud.
Resort accounting personnel had uncovered a significant use of petty cash receipts for unauthorized expenses. Over time, the receipts had been falsified by an employee, Samuel Lee Williams, of the Village of Oak Creek, Sedona. After a detailed accounting review, a loss of nearly $3900 dollars was uncovered dating back to June 2014. Williams was confronted by security staff, admitted his involvement in the theft, and was fired.
On Tuesday, March 31, deputies arrested Williams at his Village of Oak Creek apartment. He was booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center on charges that included Theft, Fraud and Forgery. He was released on a $7500 bond.
