Sedona AZ (May 7, 2009)–Keep Sedona Beautiful and the Sedona Women have partnered to present a special program entitled “Sedona Dark Skies: The Moon, the Stars, and YOU!” at The Sedona Creative Life Center, 333 Schnebley Hill Road, on May 13 2009. All women are welcome. A meet and greet begins at 9:30 AM followed by the program at 10:00 AM.
The event organizers say that this is to be “…a fabulous program and one you will not want to miss. From the moment you arrive, you will enter a celestial environment to delight all your senses.”
Participants will interact with each other and then enjoy presentations by Wini Cameron, in whose honor an asteroid has been named; Dennis Young, famous for some of his Sedona “astro-scenic-photography”; and Diane Dearmore, President of Gardens for Humanity.
This event will be followed by lunch at the L’Auberge Resort Monet Ballroom. The luncheon will include a raffle to benefit the Helen Wolfe Scholarship and is open to members of Sedona Women, Keep Sedona Beautiful and their guests.
Reservations must be made in advance and a fee is involved.
