Sedona City Hall Art Exhibit

Sedona AZ (March 29, 2012) – The City of Sedona Art in Public Places Committee is proud to announce a new exhibition featuring the paintings of the Northern Arizona Watercolor Society (NAWS).

NAWS is an art organization dedicated to promoting the art of watercolor painting throughout Arizona. The organization supports the growth of young student artists with its Annual Student Art Show heldĀ at Sedona Red Rock High School that provides scholarship funding to further art studies.

NAWS exists to create, foster, and sustain interest in the art of water media painting and assist in the education of its members and the community in aqueous painting. It sponsors educational programs juried by nationally known artists and skill level workshops. It organizes Sedona Plein air events that meet twice a month to paint scenic local areas.

To view this expansive and varied exhibit at Sedona City Hall, contact the Arts and Culture Department at 928-203-5189.
