Sedona 2014 Softball Registration

Sedona AZ (March 30, 2014) – The City of Sedona Arizona Parks and Recreation is accepting registration for its Adult Summer Softball League. Two leagues will be played this year simultaneously: Recreation League and Competitive League. A tournament for each league will be played at the end of the season. Team managers determine which league to register for but only one league per team.

Team registration is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 through Thursday, May 22, 2014. There is a maximum of 20 players per team and players must be 16 years of age or older.

The registration fee is $275 per team.

Games are scheduled for play Thursday evenings beginning June 5 at 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. at Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Ground Road, west Sedona.

The league will run for 10 weeks. Captains/Managers may register teams at the City Hall Parks and Recreation office at 102 Roadrunner Drive, Sedona. There will be an on-site coaches meeting at the ball field on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. to discuss league rules.

The 2014 Adult Softball League Rules and Regulations are not those of a coed league. Women are welcome to play, but the rules are not official Coed rules.
