Prescott police searching for this robbery suspect on the run. Can you identify this person? Shots were fired during the robbery.

Prescott AZ (April 30, 2013) – On April 29, 2013, at approximately 5:00 PM, an unknown male suspect entered a jewelry store in the 300 block of North Montezuma Street, Prescott. The suspect pepper sprayed the female owner of the business, stole a $1,250.00 piece of jewelry, and fled on foot.

The male owner of the business, who was working in the back of store, ran after the suspect with a handgun and ordered the suspect to stop. The suspect ran toward the area between the shopping center and Granite Creek Park. The store owner fired three shots toward the suspect as the suspect entered the driver’s side of a red two door coupe. The suspect drove off in the direction of 6th Street.

The store owner told police he didn’t think that he hit the suspect or the vehicle.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 25 years old, wearing a dark colored baseball cap, blue or black short sleeve t-shirt with a white design on it and blue jeans.  He was described as about 6 feet tall with a slender build and was wearing sunglasses.
