Sedona AZ (May 18 2011)–In Prescott Arizona, Mark Echard, sound engineer at Prescott’s Elks Opera House and owner of Heavenly Sound Recording Studio, is teaming up with producers Frank Leupold and Calvin Bowers (CB5) on an exciting project to combine live music and reality TV at the Elks Opera House this summer.
The trio of producers is shooting the first pilot of a series entitled Live at The Elks on July 23rd with nationally known rock-turned-gospel star Mike Farris, and Live at the Elks house band, String Therapi. Openers will include a gospel choir and an as-yet unannounced comedian. Tickets will be available through the Elks Opera House box office.
The second pilot in the works and is slated for August 27, 2011. It will feature pop and rock acts including Prescott favorites Dutch Holly, Spafford, and Known Enemies. The national headliner is still to be announced.

Echard, Bowers and Leupold have hopes that Live at The Elks will shed light on Prescott’s broad pool of local talent while bringing more nationally known entertainment to eager audiences in the city. The newly renovated Elks Opera House is a world-class venue and the three unanimously agree that it should feature world-class live music as often as possible.
