Clarkdale AZ (March 14, 2012) – In the continuation of the town of Clarkdale and the Arizona Centennial 2012 celebration, a group of hardy Clarkdale residents will be going up on “C” mountain in Clarkdale to paint the “C“.
The painting crew will gather to travel to the top of “C” mountain on March 31, 2012 at the Clarkdale Historical Museum, 900 First North (next to the Clarkdale Police Department) in town. Since the painting of the “C” will be restricted to a predetermined few, all others will be able to view the activity from the museum grounds.
Bring binoculars, spotting scopes or cameras, water and a lawn chair to sit and watch the crew do the C. The fun begins at 7 a.m. and ends when the C is completed.
A $3.00 continental breakfast will be available at the museum. Enjoy a lovely spring Saturday in Clarkdale Arizona with family and friends and share in this thoroughly southwestern mountainous event.
