October 2012 Unsung Hero Award

Yavapai County October 2012 Unsung Heroes Windolph and Caillou with Supervisor Chip Davis

Sedona AZ (October 26, 2012) – Yavapai County Supervisor A.G. (Chip) Davis visited the Yavapai Broadcasting Studio on October 17, 2012 to present the Unsung Hero Award to Angela Windolph and Nadia Caillou on its “Mark in the Morning Show.”

Windolph and Caillou are the co-founders of Golden Bone Rescue and Rehab. They both work in other capacities, have family, friends, pets and other obligations, yet Golden Bone, founded in 2002, is never shortchanged.

Golden Bone has saved the lives of hundreds of animals, and helped provide medical care, spay and neuter surgeries, immunizations, healthy food, warmth, comfort and love to dogs that otherwise would have lived miserable lives or died. Its co-founders “look forward” even in incredibly trying situations and work hand in hand with other rescue groups and shelters.

Constance Israel, the Vice-President of Golden Bone said, “They (Windolph and Caillou) inspire me to work to make a difference, when it would be so much easier to just give up.”

The radio show was simultaneously videotaped by the Yavapai Broadcasting Company and is available for viewing at www.verdevalleytv.com.
