  1. Flagstaff Bridge Closed Reminder says:

The Arizona Department of Transportation will resurface the roadway on the bridge over Interstate 17 at Airport Road in Flagstaff, beginning Tuesday (May 31). The bridge will be closed until the project is completed by July, but I-17 will remain open in both directions. The on and off-ramps will remain open, but there is a possibility that they will have to be closed for brief periods during construction.
Motorists on the east side of I-17 traveling on Airport Road who wish to access I-17 south or State Route 89A south will be directed to I-17 north to McConnell Road, will exit and then re-enter I-17 south or SR 89A south. Motorists on the west side of I-17 traveling on Fairgrounds Road who wish to access I-17 north will be directed to I-17 south to Kachina Boulevard., will exit and then re-enter I-17 north. There is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur due to weather and other circumstances.
