Letter to the Editor: MSNBC Poll Question

from J. Macdonald, Tennessee (the new Times site keeps getting better and better)
My letter:  If you don’t do anything else today, please answer this MSNBC Poll question about immigration. Forward it on to as many people as you can. Email, Tweet and Facebook this question to others on your list. Let’s find out what the will is of the people!
Citizen voices need to be heard. Why is the Federal government adding to our trillions of dollars of deficit by suing Arizona? DC is using money that can better be spent on fixing healthcare or addressing Medicare issues at the state level. Are they going to sue California for its Sanctuary cities, or Ohio and Massachusetts or the other states that have similar laws or soon to be laws? Let the citizens of each state deal with internal issues and let DC hear a clear message. It’s time to handle the immigration policy. Both Democrats and Republicans have failed to listen to the will of the people. It’s time for Eric Holder to resign and it’s time for our President to replace him for poor performance and personal agendas which get in the way of progress at Justice. Rather than wasting money suing Arizona, use it to fix our immigration problem! Enforce our laws on the books! Fix the laws that are broken!
Thank you for allowing me to express my opinion.  And keep Sedona’s skies DARK.   J.P.M.
