Fence to Fence 89A Litter and Recycling Event

Sedona AZ (November 9, 2010) – Rusty’s Morningstar Ranch in Cornville, Arizona, invites the public to its first official “Fence to Fence” Scenic Highway 89A Litter Recovery and Recycling event. This event has been scheduled for two consecutive Saturday mornings, November 13 and 20, to clean up litter between Cottonwood (MP-355) and Sedona (MP-370).

Rusty’s Morningstar Ranch has the contact list for all 15 ADOT Adopt-A-Highway Permittees between Cottonwood and Sedona. One of these fifteen sections is available to be adopted between MP-360 and MP-361. Contact the ADOT Adopt-A-Highway Coordinator at 602-712-7114 if you or your group will adopt this one mile section of highway.

The following groups will be cleaning Arizona Scenic Highway 89A between Cottonwood and Sedona:

November 13: Immaculate Conception Parish, Knights of Columbus Council #2493 has a scheduled litter event.

November 20: Rio Verde Roverettes, Inc., Sedona Pines Resort LLC, Cottonwood LDS Boy Scouts, Latin American Center, Central Arizona Masonic #14 in Sedona.

More participant names will be added for November so keep Rusty’s Morningstar Ranch at www.RMR.org informed. The public’s help is needed to recover and recycle illegally dumped litter!

Tire Pro Automotive and Reese and Sons will be collecting and transporting the litter bags to the RMR autistic ranchers so they may sort and process the litter for recycling and or disposal.

RMR uses this program as a fundraising activity for its organization. If you have questions or would like to make a donation to help support the RMR program for autistic adults, contact 928-634-4784 or e-mail Rustys@rmr.org.
