“Fabulous Faux for Boring Walls” Workshop

The Sedona Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a unique and creative workshop on faux painting.  During this hands-on class, Instructor Linda Coffman will guide you through the beginning skills that will allow you to create your own mouth-dropping painted walls.

Her dual-roller method quickly creates a variety of looks including suede, marble, granite, southwest rustic and Old World Tuscan.  She will teach you the secret for creating perfect edges and how to rescue a wall from disaster.  Don’t miss out on the experience Linda has to share with you.

Fabulous Faux for Boring Walls workshop is being held Thursday, October 28, 2010, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Sedona Teen Center located in Posse Grounds Park.  Registration must be paid for in advance through Sedona Parks and Recreation at 282-7098 or by walking in at 102 Roadrunner Drive.  This workshop is $25 per person, with an additional $29 supplies fee that will be collected the day of the workshop.  For more information on this instructor and to see pictures of her creations, take a look at www.twistonwalls.com

Parks and Recreation is excited to offer such a diverse class to our community.  Through your support of these workshops, we will continue to offer unique workshops in the future.  For more information on upcoming Parks and Recreation events and classes, please reference the City website at www.SedonaAZ.gov/Parks.
