Harley McGuire and pals will look for you at the park on July 19
This event is free for those interested in playing with their dogs on the beautiful grass field.
Let us help you pamper your pooch with fun doggy stations: There will be free dog nail trimming, dog baths, dog brushing, free dog licensing (with proof of rabies vaccination), and a mobile vet on site with discounted vaccines. There will be “off leash” fenced-in areas with a kiddie pool for the small and large dogs to play in.
Parks and Recreation will hand out free doggie travel bowls to the first 50 dogs through the gate. Enjoy the green grass and shade, pet friendly exhibitors and goodies for sale. Join us for this fun and interactive event with your pet.
We encourage all friendly owners and their well-behaved dogs to be a part of this day. All breeds are welcome and must be on leashes.

Did you know that July 5th is the busiest day of the year for animal shelters? The week leading up to the 4th of July is the busiest for rescues as shelters scramble to free up space for all of the dogs that will come in over the Holiday. Dogs already in the shelters will become urgent.
PLEASE, PLEASE secure your pets this week. Fireworks ARE scary, and hundreds of pets will become holiday statistics. Do not let your pet be one of them! Keep ’em safe!
