Listen, I’m screaming – I’m reaching out, lost in your memory…I’m shouting out – can’t you hear me?

Walks in the night – we talked back then – running the train tracks – we were still friends – wade through the past – memories linger – pictures of you – becoming a stranger…

Times on the phone – we shared the laughter – toolin’ with Schnitz – down at the river – those times are forever – I can remember…

Climbing the fence – we hid in the pool – up through the ceiling – to get in the room – while out on the hood – we were still driving – with the sound of the engine – over your sighing…

Just a dream…just a dream…in our minds…just a dream…

Once we were close – chasing those times – on the roof of the Dodge – watching the lightning – hide and seek in a forest of stone – rest in peace – those memories have gone…
