Sedona AZ (July 23, 2014) – The following has been randomly taken from Collins Rhōg’s private journal, and reproduced exactly as it was written, by his own hand. The date has been omitted, at his request, but Collins view is always captivatingly honest, full of depth and color, heart, love, and perseverance in times of struggle. Collins spills his soul and captures his feelings with vivid imagery and heart felt emotion that oozes from the pages of this historic text.
The following is but a portholes view, from across the room of “The Life and Times of Collins Rhōg”:
– Angels Heaven Bound, Careflight 5
lifting off from Santa Fe…
winds coming from the south…
at 2:36 AM…
an Angel hit the ground…
through the morning hours in the darkness…
with boulders silhouetted below…
the mission that they were flying…
was the one that took them home…
rushing to save a life…
as fragile as a dragonfly’s wing…
the crew of careflight 5…
sacrificed everything…
and we’ll remember their faces…
and we’ll remember their voices…
and we’ll remember their hearts, that shined brighter than anything…
and we’ll miss them forever…
and we’ll honour their courage…
every time we hear a rotor sing…
lifting off from Santa Fe…
winds coming from the south…
at 2:36 AM…
three Angels went heaven bound.
