Coconino County Sheriff Looking for Missing Man

Flagstaff AZ (October 17, 2012) – The Coconino County Sheriff’s office is asking the public to help locate a missing Flagstaff man:

Native American Oryan Begay, age 29, approximately 5’6″ tall and weighing about 190 pounds, was reported missing by his girlfriend. Begay drives a 2007 Blue Dodge Dakota Pick Up truck with the license tag ALF7232.

Begay was last seen at a residence in Kachina Village on the morning of Sunday, October 14, 2012. He stated that he was going fishing at Ashurst Lake or Lake Mary and did not return. He has since missed several appointments.

Begay has family and friends in Window Rock and Tuba City and recently moved to Flagstaff from Las Cruces, NM.

Flagstaff, AZ; Twenty nine year-old Oryan Begay of Kachina Village who was the subject of a missing person flyer issued by the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office on October 17, 2012 was located late Wednesday evening in good health and safe condition at a friend’s house. Mr. Begay was not aware that he was the subject of a missing person investigation. The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all of our media partners that are so instrumental in advising the pubic of individuals that are reported missing in Coconino County.
