Sedona AZ (August 26, 2012) – The City of Sedona will soon be visiting local businesses in an effort to let the business community know that the City is supportive of its efforts and its concerns.
Staff from the City of Sedona Financial Services department will go to city businesses in order to provide information and answer questions. The city staff will wear a City badge and are expected to leave a City business card.
It is hoped that this “feet on the street” approach will allow business owners the convenience of a personal meeting while encouraging an open line of communication.
The City of Sedona approved tax audits in 2010. Sales tax compliance issues are a concern for the City.
