Circle K Convenience Store Robbed

Sedona AZ (February 20, 2013) – Just before 3 AM this morning, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the Circle K convenience store on Arizona State Highway 69 in Mayer, Arizona, regarding a robbery that just occurred. Deputies arrived within five minutes and contacted the clerk on duty regarding the robbery.

The clerk explained that he was approached inside the store by a man wearing a motorcycle helmet who said, “Don’t make me shoot you man. Open the register.” While saying this, the robbery suspect placed his right hand in a pocket as if gripping a firearm. The clerk complied and opened the register drawer.

The suspect then removed the complete cash tray and ordered the clerk into the bathroom. The clerk eventually was able to call the Sheriff’s Office.
