    Thank you Bruce and a handful of others for recognizing these efforts.

    The overwelming response (tongue-in-cheek) of the efforts of the five mayors of Yavapai County (Camp Verde, Dewey-Humbolt, Prescott Valley, Prescott and Chino Valley) makes you wonder if anyone truely appreciates what these mayors and the Adopt-A-Highway groups do for their residents.

    Is it any wonder that volunteers and good hearted leaders feel unsupported when the general public can’t even thank these folks, let alone offer them a helping hand for a couple hours every three months.

    Bigger question, “Where are the rest of the mayors of the Verde Valley and why can’t they even commit to recognizing their local Adopt-A-Highway groups?”

    Mayors of Jerome, Clarkdale, Cottonwood and Sedona, your participation in this “America the Beautiful & BagReadyJobs” effort will only improve the image and economy of your community.
