Be Aware Festival May 7-9 in Tubac AZ

Gabriel of Urantia & The Bright & Morning Star Band are on a national “Be Aware” concert tour to raise awareness of important environmental, social, and spiritual issues. Gabriel of Urantia calls attention to global concerns and offers positive, practical solutions. The tour kicks off with the biannual Be Aware Festival.

May 7-9 at Avalon Organic Gardens, Farm, and EcoVillage in Tubac, AZ, Global Change Multi-Media presents the Be Aware Festival featuring the eleven-piece Gabriel of Urantia & The Bright & Morning Star Band. Additional artists include Van’sGuard, Starseed Acoustic Ensemble, The Change Agents Band, DeoVibe, Israfel Awakened, and SaTNesu.

Gabriel of Urantia encourages everyone to ‘Be Aware’ of such things as:
• The need for more green products and to live more sustainably.
• The need to buy locally and to grow organic gardens.
• The chemicals and toxins in many foods, manufactured by greedy, uncaring companies.
• The unethical corporate entities taking people’s money and keeping them in slave labor.
• The unequal distribution of wealth, supplies, and material goods, keeping the poor fighting among themselves.
• The lack of proper health care and the high costs of medical services.
• The need for true spiritual and political leadership.

“These issues aren’t being addressed by mainstream media,” says Global Change Multi-Media Executive Director, BenDameean Steinhardt. “People need to realize how important these topics are. To change the world, we have to identify the problems and find viable solutions.”

In addition to live music, the festival includes camping, independent films, activist theater, ecoconscious speakers, Kids’ Village, hayride tours, ethnic foods, vendors, and more.

The festival is free for kids 11 and under. Suggested donations for ages 12 & up are given at the gate and are:
All Three Days – $30
Friday – $16 all day ($8 after 1:00pm)
Saturday – $20 all day ($10 after 4:30pm)
Sunday – $16 ($8 after 3:00pm)
Proceeds benefit various nonprofit organizations.

“By suggested donation.” says Gabriel of Urantia. “People of all ages, races, and economic brackets are encouraged to come, including the poor and disenfranchised. We trust people who have will support the ‘new-paradigm admission’ and give freely from their hearts to keep these festivals by suggested donation so that those less fortunate can attend.” Money doesn’t get you the best seats at his concerts. His unique style of music, CosmoPop, attracts people from all religions and walks of life who come together under a banner of “One God, One Planetary Family.” Gabriel of Urantia has five independent CosmoPop CDs. His music should be heard on radio stations around the world but (thank God for the uncontrolled Internet) his concerts can be watched around the planet through live webcasts by Global Change Multi-Media.   A resident visitor experience is offered after the festival for those interested in learning more about organic gardening, ecovillage living, and the vision behind the “Be Aware” movement.  For more information and camping reservations visit www.BeAware2010.org or call 1-866-282-2205.  Shuttle service available.
