Sedona AZ (July 10, 2016) – The city of Sedona Parks and Recreation Department and SedonaEye.com Star Four Paws Up Pet Columnist Harley McGuire invite all animal lovers and dog owners to support the fifth annual, A Dog’s Day Out in the Park. This pet friendly event is being held Saturday, July 16, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on the multi-use field at Posse Grounds Park, west Sedona.
This event is free for those interested in playing with their dogs on the beautiful grass field. Let us help you pamper your pooch with fun doggy stations. There will be free dog nail trimming, dog baths, dog brushing, and free dog licensing (with proof of rabies vaccination). There will be an “Off Leash” fenced in area with a kiddie pool for the dogs as well. Bring a ball and have some fun with your pal, says Harley McGuire!
Parks and Recreation will be handing out free dog leashes to the first 50 dogs through the gate. Enjoy the green grass and pet friendly exhibitors with goodies for sale. Join us for this fun and interactive event with your pet at the Posse Grounds Park at 525 Posse Ground Road.
“This event is a great excuse to pamper your pet while playing in the park,” said recreation and aquatics supervisor, Elizabeth Ginsberg. “We encourage all friendly owners and their well-behaved dogs to be a part of this day. All breeds are welcome. Please have dogs on leashes when arriving.”
