  1. Beverly Coleman, Sedona says:

Governor Brewer just announced on TV that her government has now balanced the AZ budget and set AZ on good fiscal management so why are you saying that AZ has been hard hit by the recession when it seems to have been our salvation. It has been a “good” excuse for our chasing the low cost laborers back to Mexico. Now there are more low paying jobs for poor, unemployed AZ citizens. The majority of AZ citizens are also protesting the Health Reform Bill. They argue that they do not want help from the government to restore their health or save their lives when they lose their jobs and/or insurance costs are more than the average person can pay. This means that many citizens will not be able to afford cancer treatment and will simply dying off. I am wondering why you have chosen to contribute to the purchase of wigs, prostheses and counseling instead of [your] contributing that money to saving the lives of people who are being deprived of medical care. Do you have your priorities and values right?
