DEPUTY CITY CLERK – ($17.30-$21.13 hourly DOQ, PLUS BENEFITS).
This is an FLSA exempt position.
The City is a member of ASRS. The individual must have excellent administrative skills, be a self-starter, highly organized, detail oriented, have good customer service skills, and be a team player.
This person will attend City Council meetings and transcribe minutes; assist with citywide records management; help manage municipal vote-by-mail elections; coordinate election procedures with county election departments; prepare candidate packets; supervise and process early ballots; assist in development and administration of City Clerk’s budget; assist with receipt and processing of petitions, initiatives, referendums or recall relating to City matters.
Knowledge of or ability to gain knowledge of election laws and procedures and principles and practices of municipal budget preparation essential.
Associates Degree in Business or Public Administration desired or related field or applicable experience in lieu of education.

The City of Sedona is accepting applications for a full-time Technical Services Supervisor.
Under direction of the Support Services Commander, exercises direct and indirect supervision over assigned technical and administrative support personnel who specialize in police service-related activities.
Essential functions include working efficiently and effectively with various police related software, hardware, operating systems, databases, network systems and telecommunications systems to include installation, upgrade, maintenance and troubleshooting; identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; review with appropriate management staff; implement improvements; coordinate the design, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all communications equipment, implementation, and administration of police communication systems, records and related automated systems; work collaboratively with the City’s Information Technology Division regarding technical assistance; work with outside vendors and consultants; recommend improvements, equipment upgrades, and enhancements; serve as the department’s custodian of records.
Requires four years of increasingly responsible experience involving police dispatch, records management and related services including two years of supervisory responsibility.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent with two years of course work or vocational training in criminal justice, office management, communications, records management, computer science, public administration or a related field.
