Rasmussen surveys found 66% of the state’s voters support the immigration law and 24% oppose it. Candidate for Governor Terry Goddard, a former Phoenix mayor in the 1980s and son of a former governor, is viewed Very Favorably by 18% of Arizona voters and Very Unfavorably by 14% after losing a substantial early lead over Governor Jan Brewer after refusing to join the Attorney Generals from other states in suing the federal government. The June 29 2010 poll of the Governor’s race shows Brewer with an 18% lead over Goddard.
