Three time Grammy winner, William Eaton, takes the stage on Friday, May 14th at 7:30PM. Join William Eaton for a retrospective look at four decades of his music and instrument making. William will showcase 12 of his instruments.
A co-founder and current Director of Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery (guitar making school in Phoenix) William is acknowledged as one of the world’s great designers and builders of unique harp guitars and multi-stringed instruments. This concert will include insights into the inspiration, ideas, and construction of his instruments that, one reviewer said, “resemble ancient artifacts from the planet Pandora in Avatar.”
Take a musical tour across the world and through time with Connie Fisher, in concert, singing the sacred and soul-nurturing songs of the Ancients and the Old World on – Saturday, May 15th, 7:30PM with Connie Fisher. Connie’s original songs find their roots in her life-long study of sacred world music, dance, and art. Connie’s training in the arts of South India, West Africa, Celtic and Eastern Europe fuse together and become her vehicle for spiritual self-expression. Become transported to a time long ago and far away through this multi-media presentation featuring Connie’s ethereal ‘diva’ voice, costumes, slides, artwork and lighting specials.

New Class Schedule for Studio B! Studio B adjoining The Old Town Center for the Arts, has a whole new schedule of classes for your enjoyment. Many of the classes are for all levels, so you can perfect your skills or learn a new activity. Some of the best teachers in the valley are offering classes in: Belly Dance, Yoga, Guitar, Jazz Dance, Hip Hop, Drumming, Ball Room Dance, and other forms of movement and arts. The OTCA is looking for Volunteers: Old Town Center for the Arts is a community oriented space for local arts organizations, educational activities and other community gatherings in Cottonwood. Among our goals, we hope to provide space to support the community’s artistic desires through classes, workshops, musical and dramatic presentations, collaborative projects and other arts-related activities.
We are looking for volunteers to help us on performance nights. Volunteers are a vital part of the arts and special events, and we need you!
