we don’t need mom and pop shops competing for the few bucks we make in our galleries and shops!!!!!! we pay the taxes not them to keep this city running!!!!
Parks and Recreation Department Cancels Art Abounds at Posse Grounds – Art Abounds at Posse Grounds will be cancelled for July 15 and August 19 due to lack of vendor and spectator participation. Thank you to all of the artists that donated their time trying to build this event. Parks and Recreation will continue to offer diverse quality programs and events throughout the year. Please continue to reference the Parks and Recreation calendar at http://www.SedonaAZ.gov/Parks for a complete list of upcoming events. For more information, contact the Sedona Department of Parks and Recreation at (928) 282-7098.
With all the ridiculous nonsense sponsored by Parks & Rec., one wonders if the Sedona City Council (AKA The Moronic Convergence) is running a government or a summer camp.
Parks & Rec. should be eliminated entirely, and their only legitimate function – park maintenance – should be put out to competitive bidding.
