Gurley Street, Prescott, AZ 86301 Dwight D’Evelyn - Media Coordinator 928-777-7441 June 19, 2013 YCSO Seeking Circle K Robbery Suspect *** On June 18, 2013, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputes were dispatched to a robbery incident at the Circle K store on Highway 69 in Mayer, Arizona. The clerk told deputies a suspect entered the store about 11:40 pm. Within a few moments, the suspect pulled a bandana over his face, approached the clerk, and demanded money from the register drawer. The suspect threatened the clerk with physical harm if he did not cooperate. The clerk complied, opened the register drawer, and allowed the suspect to grab currency from the cash tray. The clerk was then ordered to the back of the store and forced inside a walk-in freezer. The suspect exited the store and was last seen running north and out of sight. An unknown amount of currency was stolen. The subject is described as 5'06" to 5'07," approximately 150 lbs, 18-24-year-of-age, short dark brown hair, clean shaven, wearing a black shirt, black ball cap, black bandana, black gloves and flip flop type shoes. This subject also has a tattoo which looks like a series of letters along the back side of his left forearm.
