The group is Truit a local grassroots organization. I believe that Covid change everything. Suddenly people were stuck at home and turns to their computers in order to have interaction in many facets of their life. But surprisingly, the group has only grown in membership since the major Covid restrictions or put to bed. My opinion is that things to change for many people, and that social media will remain strong for grassroots action.

Of course, I recommend anyone interested in local grassroots issues join our group we have fun we look at issues and that some issues we take pretty strong actionb the weight of our numbers and our campaigns for letters, emails, texts, phone calls and participation at meetings influence the outcomes of many initiativess.

What?! We are showing up. We are telling them what we want. We are telling the supervisors to stop irresponsible development. The community does NOT want the Verde Connect. The community does NOT want rezoning to allow for another 3-story hotel with a 4th story that is a rooftop bar in the middle of the VOC. The supervisors get paid, a lot, to sit at meetings. They ignore our demands and criticize us when we show up and criticize us when we don’t show up.

Where can we find ethical candidates to run against the current unethical ones? We can vote them out, but we need alternatives. I am ready to vote for ethical and responsible candidates.
