Sedona residents listen up. STOP SHARING FALSE messages about Prime Day and the Post Office, stop telling people not to order because it would delay voting mail. It’s a lie. PRIME DAY DOESN’T INTERFERE WITH MAILING BALLOTS. That clear enough?

“The post office processes mail and packages on different equipment. In that way, a surge in one doesn’t affect the other. Not to mention, the agency can accommodate occasional upticks in parcel volume. The US Postal Service has the capacity to flex its nationwide processing and delivery network to meet surges in volume of mail and packages,” its spokesperson said. Amazon relies on the Postal Service to deliver packages in unprofitable areas and the company also uses FedEx, UPS and its own delivery network.

Is there anyone still out there who remembers the Dutchman’s Cove uptown and down by the creek? There were sills outside the windows where the owners of the restaurant would place bread and patrons could actually dine with the raccoons!

These days our most dreaded wildlife has become greedy city government who cannot see our national forest because of their lust for more and more tourists. Let them all go to Park City, UT and leave those who respect Sedona’s beauty alone – and that goes for all the investors in vacation rentals that are destroying our subdivisions as well.

Love our wildlife in northern Arizona and wish the people not living here yr round had to buy tickets to get over the Verde bridges to get here. How about $100 a car for 12 hrs$$$$

“Turd world America” – brilliant description of what Sedona has become (although it took me a while to catch on). The old brain’s slowing down along with everything else.

Anyhow “Turd World” pretty much justifies why we no longer look forward to visiting there. And most of the time we weren’t among the “day trippers” because we loved the hiking trails and thus would plan on staying at a motel for several days.

One might add “Turd world trails” to the description now days? And that would, unfortunately, be literally and no longer just created by wildlife? OMG who would have thought?

Wild beasts, (four legged variety) – we miss you but take pleasure in knowing “they” haven’t succeeded in driving you out entirely. Beware, though, or you might meet your maker as did the unfortunate bear in the above article. Shameful and revealing. Another reason to blackball Sedona?

I remember when it was quiet on weekends that you could look forward to sitting on a trail dangling feet off a cliff and breathe. You didn’t have to share the rock with a tourist throwing a diaper in the creek or walking behind a trail bush and taking a dump next to dozens of others. Now those trails look like something out of killing fields with weird people. I miss it too and for what?
