If people don ‘t vote to get this Home Rule rejected it’s true – we will really be in for it from City Hall. “We” meaning residents who would dare go against what the Chamber/City would have in store for us. Notice I put “Chamber” before the “City”. But of course, The Chamber and Lodging Council have been allowed to take over.

Please, oh please, Attorney General. Find a loophole our very clever City Attorney carelessly overlooked when allowing this disgraceful liaison to continue on without even considering other alternatives. Hope to Heaven Arizona State rules against Sedona and withholds funds. Maybe THEN Chamber/City might take it seriously.

Thank you John Roberts for another intelligent and well written entry to SedonaEye. If I were able to contribute one thing it would be your name as a candidate for Sedona City Council. Clear minded thinking seems to be “one” of the missing links.

As for the current investigation, just the mere fact Sedona is even under suspicion of really shoddy activities is shameful in itself. Regardless of what residents prefer those in charge simply don’t care. If the AG finds no violation, it will be the same old giveaway of millions of dollars to what has become known as Sedona biggest rip off – the chamber of commerce.

Unless Home Rule is voted down life in Sedona will be worse than ever for us.
