Thank you all for your comments AND your support. You know what they say…It ain’t over ’til the fat lady sings! So..until the Elections Department of Yavapai County “sings” nothing is official. (And they have 70 days in which to to it!) We did everything possible to ensure the validity of every signature. That’s all anyone can ask! All election dates are set by the County Board of Supervisors, so we’ll all find out together! In the meantime, we must remain vigilant in keeping the current Board from doing further damage! Stay informed!!

We also hope this is the real thing and that the signatures are verified. Big difference between verified and unverified though so am a little concerned. Let us know Wendy Tanzer, please. Thank you to all the volunteers of the Citizens for Safety for spearheading this important public safety issue. You have two votes from this household. When is the election? We only read the Sedona Eye and will look for the information here.

Is this tally official? In other words, have enough legitimate signatures been verified?

I hope so because this is yet another indication that our democracy hasn’t completely surrendered to ineffectiveness.

Two times now in Sedona the voices of the people who should count but have apparently been subjected to stifling tactics managed to survive and sustain their right to be heard.

Hope this is a for real thing. I already know how I will vote.
