The petition is addressed to Sedona City Coucil and Mayor Sandy Moriarty, and reads:

Stop the Proposed Stipulations that are tandemed with the Parking Lot changes, clearly designed to stop our Ceremony.

We as community members of Sedona Az have gathered on Cathedral Rock at FullMoon for our Drum Circle Ceremony for a minimum of 20 years.
We go to Worship, to Pray, to Drum, to Dance, to Celebrate, to Bring More Peace to Our World.

Our circle is open to All and many visitors join us and share that it is a once in a lifetime experience that they will always carry with them.

The Land is US Forest Service and we have our right to use it. We gather just 8 times a year out of 365, for a few hours and are deserving of compromise.

There will be some minor traffic control starting at 7 p.m. It is anticipated that work will be completed by 10 p.m. on the same night. Low wattage lighting will be used around the manhole areas for work zone lighting. No digging or boring will done during this project.

Northbound Interstate 17 closed between Camelback Road and Glendale Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 11 p.m. Saturday
Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) narrowed to one lane in both directions between Tatum Boulevard and Cave Creek Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday and from 10 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday
Northbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) closed at Indian School Road in the Scottsdale area from 11 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday

Be aware that Interstate 17 has an ongoing pavement project underway.
