To top that was unanimous approval for city staff to devote time to locate a consulting firm, not to exceed $450,000, to recommend plans for redeveloping West Sedona, with even the city’s long range planner questioning the source of money. With national lay-offs in all areas, our City is currently advertising for a police officer, parks maintenance supervisor, and a street maintenance worker. So why would funding unlilmited street lights be a problem should State and/or Federal sources dry up? Maybe the wizards at City Hall should go to Washington D.C. and tell the folks there how to straighten out the economy??
