Cottonwood Smart Meter Awareness is pleased to announce a free screening of “Take Back Your Power” in the Verde Village 3 Clubhouse, 4855 Broken Saddle Dr. (off Hwy 260 on Del Rio, follow the signs) on October 17th from 6:00-8:00 pm. The screening will be followed with Q&A’s.

“Take Back Your Power” is an eye opening documentary feature film that investigates the “smart” meter program currently being implemented worldwide by most of the major utility companies and scheduled to be installed in the Verde Valley in November. It uncovers alarming issues about health, privacy, property rights, corporate fraud and the unprecedented vulnerability of the “smart” grid.

Our intention is to inform the public so they can make an educated decision whether to accept or refuse these devices.

DVD’s will be available at the event or can be purchased at sedonasmartmeterawareness.com where more information can be obtained.

@ We’re Stuck – APS is lying again. Solar works fine w/out a “smart” meter. As you point out, “Solar has been around longer than the meters.”

There are 2 ways to measure solar w/out “smart” meters: 1) a bi-directional analog meter that spins either way depending on energy going out or coming in, or 2) two analog meters hooked up so that one measures energy coming in and the other measures energy going out.

Something to ponder: APS are liars. APS runs a nuke plant.

We installed solar panels and were required to install a smart meter. Of course, APS took forever to come out and flip the switch, because they still wanted the money for the electricity, but now we are stuck with the smart meter, and any associated issues. I don’t understand why we were “forced” to change. Solar has been around longer than the meters. I questioned it, but was told the system wouldn’t work with the older meters. All part of the game.
