How can they say first increase in 14 years as if I remember Sedona hasn't been incorporated for 14 years. Most people years ago were on septic tanks to begin with. When you set a rate to begin with that is an increase to me from zero to the implemented charge.

Hold onto your hats, kids.

Now that the annual Red Rock Fantasy at Los Abrigados has been cancelled, already "Jen" at the Chamber of Commerce together with a "core group of business leaders" are looking into alternative seasonal events to attract visitors.

Any takers to bet if (1) the Lodging Council is among the core group; (2) although the city technically isn't a "business" fat chance they won't be high on the list for even more $$$$ to continue the lights?

Hey, word is out. City Council Members are chumps for the chamber pleas at the cost of (another bet?) those on the sewer. With what chamber (and now Lodging Council are getting away with) if Los Abrigados with or without chamber support doesn't stand in line to be "bailed out" it will be maybe a Christmas (oops, not allowed) Holiday miracle.

This puzzle is so easy to figure out it isn't even a challenge. Flushing has become a very expensive necessary evil, unlike the unnecessary demands being made by organized special interest groups.
