Why does city council think we’d live in Sedona if we could? We can, we don’t want. We have kids and we prefer Flagstaff, and no money would entice us to live in your tourist town again. The weather is better and the scenery is as good.

I’m inclined to agree with Jess. And can we stop the stupid remarks about living and working in Sedona? Please. I lived in a midwestern city and it took longer to go to the mall in my town than it takes to drive to Cottonwood. I didn’t move closer to be near anything but my family and in a house we could afford. Americans drive cars whether it’s two minutes away or two hours. We don’t care about driving and it’s cheap to do.

The city is very generous with our money. Why does a city attorney need city paid life insurance and a car allowance?

Then there is 100% paid health insurance.

Has the city made actually living in Sedona so unattractive that they need to offer these perks? Wait, the city of Sedona does not require employees to live in Sedona.
