					<description><![CDATA[At their December 13, 2011 meeting, Sedona City Council re-appointed Michael Hadley and Norman Taylor to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission for another three years.  

The Planning and Zoning Commission plays a critical role in the City’s planning process as they serve as City Council’s adviser on land use planning topics.  

The Commission is also involved in important community issues and considers goals and policies for directing and managing future development. Duties include reviewing, evaluating and making recommendations to the Council on Community Plan and Land Development Code amendments, re-zonings and subdivision applications. Additionally, the Commission makes the final decision on conditional use permits and development review applications.]]></description>
