It's Sunday and I have time to say thank you for a smart news feed. I use your news to open my class each morning and we chose a story to discuss for five minutes. The story about the man who fell to his death generated the most interest this month. Even those who can't be bothered with school had something to say! I was reminded again how little empathy there is today. On the bright side I heard one wise comment from an unexpected mouth that gave me pause to self-reflect. To say I like your news is not enough! Lisa (deleted as requested by editor)

Just because my Harley McGuire gave his "Four Paws Up" to this worthwhile cause, the pressure is on for me to give a nod of approval to the article he's been "hounding" me to write as in ho-hum . . . boring as it might be. Oh well . . . but first he needs to recover from the shakes after all the thunder, lightening and, yes, even loud rain on the roof.
