Weekend Travel Advisory – February 24-27, 2017

Drivers should be aware of the following restrictions this weekend:

Eastbound Interstate 10 closed between 75th and 51st avenues from 10 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday
Westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) narrowed to one lane between Loop 101 and Scottsdale Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday

Westbound Interstate 10 narrowed to one lane in areas between Verrado Way and State Route 85 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

It is time to put into motion ON FOOT TRAFFIC OFFICERS , LIKE CLANCY ON THE BEAT in days of old when we had REAL TRAFFIC CROSS WALK COPS . Directing traffic , Stopping Cars & Trucks FOR PEDESTRIANS and now our super aggressive ME FIRST Round Abouts ! Especially in early morning & afternoon rush hour insanity . Horns constantly barking it’s my lane , with zero considerations for courtesy . Yes We need our Great Sedona Police Dept to BECOME FAR MORE PRO-ACTIVE and put into ACTION NOW AND EVERY DAY ….. TRUE TRAFFIC SAFETY AND ACTUALLY CREATE a Pedestrian Friendly Up Town & West Sedona RE-THINK , P L E A S E !
