Useless to try and get this council to sit up and notice a savings when it hits them across the pocketbook. They could have quieted all the hubbub of being loosey goosey with the budget/taxes by showing they’d eliminated this position or at least halved the salary. a$$$$e$$$ Who justified this rather than letting it attrition? Cost chicken feed to live here compared to where this fellow can from.
