The City first proposed that ADOT provide the City with the $10.6 million in funding now, and that the City would hold these funds until the outcome of the referendum and would provide written assurances that if the referendum overturned the affirmative route transfer decision, the City would return the funds with interest to ADOT. In the April 28 letter, ADOT states that it is not willing to provide the $10.6 million when the City, by virtue of the referendum, cannot guarantee that it will ultimately assume ownership of the roadway.

We can relate to your mommy & her lack of entertainment as our mommy doesn't entertain either, though she, too, has a medley of dishes, silver, crystal, etc. But you are sooo lucky to get treats; everytime mommy eats a bagel, I (Bonnie) salivate so mommy breaks down & gives me a little crumb. I am the begger of the 2 of us as Clyde is way finicky (a typical cat). Our mommy remembers "that old guy" & the entertaining they use to do as she was a frequent guest at their home as a girl & said those were fun times with all those other dogs that preceded you. Hope you enjoyed your roast!

Harley,
My Mom adds "organic" ground turkey meat to my dry food every day and just between us canine brothers, I don't think I can tell the difference from "regular" turkey meat. I guess it makes her feel better. Hey, I like those little "star" treats so if you have any left over I'll gladly take them, but pot roast sounds real tempting and tasty to me. Will you share when your Mom makes pot roast? I'm licking my chops just thinking about pot roast. You can come over any time and I'll share my turkey for some pot roast. Deal?

Hi Harley,

Remember me? Me, Blackie, I am back at you paws, purring and ready to deliver my words of wisdom.

I've heard what you said about all these people that complain about food and must say you hit the nail on the head. However, let me say something. When it comes to drinking what they call wine or beer, all these people suddenly unite into one happy bunch of consumers. Did you ever hear them asking if a wine is organic or beer gluten-free? Hell no, even though the beer is made of wheat and the wine has some heavy duty preservatives in it. I suggest you tell your mom her guests should bring their own stuff to eat and in exchange she'll provide a wine opener and beer glasses. Also a dog or cat treats are welcome.

And bon apetite!

Yours,
Blackie
