No argument that banks around here don’t care about customers. But to be fair BoA says the guards are to keep the protestors within a mile of the banks from storming the banks. BoA still has an armed guard at the Sedona branch and with bank robberies a problem it probably makes the tellers feel better. Problems with overdraft charges and things like that need to be dealt with by higher ups and not people at the branches even bank managers. They have numbers to meet each month to keep their jobs and helping you keep money out of that process isn’t going to happen. Have a nice day. It is nice of you to help your neighbor.

Wait. My coworker says to mention that you can find a state agency and lodge a complaint. Call the Better Business Bureau and lodge a complaint. Ask and find out who handles banking issues in the state and county and make it your mission to be heard. There might even be an elderly advocacy group that can help your friend. Take your frustration and doing something good with it!

BOA posts guards because of the constant threats from foreclosure customers they STOLE HOMES from.

Credit Unions are just as criminal, just not as big. I helped my old lady neighbor move her money out of BOA who had her in a reverse Amortization. Then, Arizona State Credit Union STOLE $768 from her in “NSF” fees, when she had $thousands$ in another account there. when I explained to the ASCC manager that she had seizures and no short-term memory and should be excused from her blunder of not linking the accounts, the manager LAUGHED AT US.

Since September 29, at least 700,000 Americans have moved their money out of big banks and into credit unions.

The big banks are so freaked out by what’s happening that some have locked their doors and even called the police on customers who tried to close their accounts.

Everyone needs to know we have the big banks on the run.

Sedona AZ (November 1, 2011) – The Bank of America in west Sedona has posted an armed guard at its main entrance. Sedona Bank of America manager, Elyse Otto, explained that the Occupy Wall Street protest was the reason for requiring armed guards at the BoA banking center. +1
