I must add that I oppose empowering the minority of residents who may, or may not, own commercial real estate along W89A who have their own unspoken agendas that does not include installing safety features (to mitigate the 95% of accidents occurring during the day), or designing our city center to be context sensitive with the Uptown and SR 179 corridor and business friendly, or deciding the future of our City where close to 70% of the residents live.

I think it’s quite evident by the number of comments I submit that I’m neither ashamed nor afraid to use my real name which also holds true insofar as expressing my own thoughts and opinions.

Either come up with proof of your allegation or be prepared for a possible legal battle. I do not take your accusation lightly.

Being completely opposed to the empowerment of a slim majority of four council members to make such a monumental decision as encumbering the residents of Sedona, exclusively, with the expense of owning a State Highway, not merely during their hopefully short tenure, but forever, I will vote NO on 410.

Then, to assure that such a thing will never happen again, I will vote YES on Proposition 411.

As flattered as I am at your accusations that I am Eddie Maddock and Sheri Graham you are still wrong.

I do know and believe you do as well, the many writings of Paula Revere as well as the names I mentioned earlier. All community members that selected pen names to serve their purpose during elections and community issues. Their prolific post, letters and articles kept us all informed over the years of their various opinions.

How can anyone believe what you say? You have no credibility until you come forth in the public eye.

Misinformation: The City Councils and their support group want you to believe city of Sedona has all of the necessary funding to own Hwy 89A. Furthermore they want you to believe the city of Sedona has done an outstanding job of maintaining our side-roads.

Truth: The City of Sedona already maintains over 100 miles of roads this is true, what is also true is the city has failed to correct deferred maintenance and each time we have a major storm many homes and businesses continue to flood. The city has failed to maintain many of our neighborhoods despite repeated promises to correct safety and welfare issues.

Truth: the City Council has cut funding to the Library, Human Society, ARTS, Schools, Parks, Road Maintenance and every Service Group. Why the cuts? The City Council has stated we do not have the money.

Misinformation: The City of Sedona Has Plenty of Money to Own and Operate Hwy 89A into Perpetuity.

Truth: Patently false. The City of Sedona has not even done its basic homework. Without a design, engineering, and construction cost the City of Sedona has no idea what the cost will be to own and operate Hwy. 89A. The City of Sedona will have to fund Hwy 89A by increasing of fees. The City has already increased Sewer fees, they are about to increase every city development fee. Fact: The only fee not utilized is CITY PROPERTY TAX and FOOD TAX!

Misinformation: The Residents of Sedona WANT to Own Hwy 89A

Truth: The Residents of Sedona came out in record numbers and begged the Council at every meeting and at packed City Council “Listening” to NOT negotiate with ADOT to own Hwy 89A.

Truth: When the City Council refused to listen to the will of the people. The residents formed a PAC and fought for our right to Vote on Ownership of Hwy 89A.

Vote No on Referendum 410 – Vote NO to INCREASED FEES and possible PROPERTY TAX
