In each case, vehicles were left UNLOCKED. Incident locations include the 100 block of Castle Rock Road, 6176 State Road 179 (The La Quinta Inn), and the 60 block of Verde Valley School Road.

One victim had a wallet stolen and there is indication an ATM card was used. Deputies hope to trace its use to a suspect.

As indicated in my email yesterday, simply locking your car will likely avoid this crime of opportunity. As always, remove valuables if your car will be unoccupied.

If you have a garage, use it. Watch out and listen for suspicious activity late night and early morning hours….I will keep you updated if any suspect information develops…
